Artist in residence, Multi media worker – Greenlaw Youth Project,
Invited artist for weekend away at activity centre, to build up relationships for an eight week media project to run concurrently
Multi Media Project Coordinator - Duns Youth Center:
Responsible for developing and teaching multi media to youth’s age 10 – 21. Co-coordinated 'The Rave' - an animation movie shortlisted for the Andrew Grant Award for young filmmakers at Berwick International Arts and Media Film Festival.

Was one of 2 group leaders responsible for a team of eight artists who encouraged 110 delegates to express themselves creatively painting 10ft x 10ft canvas.

ECA courses include, including drawing, painting, life Painting with portraiture, printmaking, bookbinding, paper making, metal work, sculpture, glass design, silver smithing and Jewelry making, Contemporary sculpture, mixed media sculpture, which all led to credits for the BA Combined Studies. Transferred to BA Hons Tapestry entrance into second year. Skills learned include, drawing – a strong skill, traditional and contemporary Tapestry, research for my work naturally led me to the area of the arts known as Socially Engaging Art and Social Sculpture which I decided to concentrate on in the form of Collaborative Community Work.

Voluntary posts:
Secretary for Greenlaw Festival Association, since 2006 responsible for Risk assessments for community events, was proactive and spearheaded the relaunch of the Greenlaw Annual Fair and was one of the main organizers, with specific responsibilities for many on-site and all secretarial duties including taking minutes, leaflet/poster design and media relations. Event received extensive media coverage.

Level One Scottish Athletics Coach and have helped regularly at the Junior Athletics Club in Greenlaw since 2004.

Director, Cameraman BBC Video Nation Community Film for BBC Restoration Village: . I was successful in my application for Director of this film with an idea involving the children of the village weaving themselves through people, through houses, and through the community. I did the filming, whilst the BBC took control of the editing. This was shown on national television, on Sky and on the Internet.
